Hold ⌘ to see the shortcut cheat sheet

Hold Command by itself for a second to see the shortcuts of the app in front. The cheat sheet reads only that app's menus, and needs Accessibility.

Updated

Hold ⌘ on its own for about a second, and TapNoise shows every shortcut in the app you’re using. Let go to close it.

Turn it on

  1. Open Settings › Keyboard, then find the Shortcut cheat sheet card.
  2. Turn on Hold ⌘ to see shortcuts. It’s on by default.

Allow it to read menus

The cheat sheet works through Accessibility. If the card says Allow TapNoise to read menus, click Open Settings and turn TapNoise on under Accessibility.

Accessibility is optional. Without it, the rest of TapNoise still works.

What it reads

The cheat sheet reads only the menu titles and shortcuts of the app in front. It doesn’t read your windows or documents, and it keeps nothing.
