Terms of Use and License

The terms, kept short.

What a TapNoise license gives you, and what TapNoise is not.

Effective 2026-10-07

The license.

A TapNoise license is a one-time purchase of US$7.99 before tax (launch price US$4.99 with the code LAUNCH while the offer lasts). It unlocks everything on up to 2 of your Macs at a time and includes every TapNoise update. It is not a subscription and never renews. TapNoise is made by Rudra Satani; you may not resell it, or modify and redistribute it.

The license is personal: please don’t share or publish your key. A refunded or charged-back purchase deactivates its key. Dodo Payments sells the license as merchant of record, and its buyer terms also apply to the payment, taxes and receipt. See the refund policy.

Requirements.

TapNoise needs macOS 14 or later. Pressure, slaps, knocks and Guard Mode need a MacBook with a motion sensor, and the lid sound a lid angle sensor; see what you need. Features can depend on macOS, the permissions you grant and your hardware. Buy for what TapNoise does today, as described on this website.

Limits.

Guard Mode is a deterrent that sounds an alarm; it is not a security or anti-theft service and cannot stop someone from taking a Mac. Break buddy’s reminders are friendly suggestions, not medical advice. Clean Mode holds input for the time you choose; hold Esc for two seconds to end it early.

Nothing here removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, and this page adds no liability cap or warranty waiver beyond those that already apply to you and to Rudra Satani.

Law and contact.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you buy as a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live. TapNoise is not affiliated with Apple. Questions: [email protected].
