How to return to a waiting coding agent by clicking Tappy

Use TapNoise's desktop companion as a way back to a waiting local agent, and understand how clicking differs from sensor-based MacBook knocks.

When a connected coding agent is waiting, clicking Tappy can bring its host app forward. It is a useful way back after a completion cue without hunting through every open window.

Set up the visible route

Connect the agent in TapNoise Settings › Agents and enable Tappy on screen. Keep the buddy somewhere it does not cover text or controls you need to click.

Run a small local agent turn and let it finish. Click Tappy, then inspect the actual agent result. The action returns your attention to the app; it does not accept a permission request or validate the generated work.

Clicking and knocking are different

Clicking Tappy works without a MacBook motion sensor. The separate Knock twice to answer feature depends on compatible hardware and its Agents setting.

If you use general knock commands as well, test the complete setup so you understand what happens while an agent is waiting. Do not rely on an assumed action during an important call or permission decision.

When it cannot find the expected window

Check that the agent is local, connected and associated with the app you are using. A cloud job or remote process does not automatically become a local window that TapNoise can identify.

For missing notifications, use the diagnostic order. For a remote session, read local versus remote alerts before installing a local helper in the wrong environment.
