Play TapNoise through the MacBook speakers

Turn on Use MacBook speakers in Settings › General so TapNoise's sounds come from the MacBook even with AirPods on, without the Bluetooth delay.

Updated

Bluetooth headphones such as AirPods add a short delay to every sound. To avoid it, TapNoise can play its sounds through the MacBook’s own speakers.

Turn it on

  1. Open Settings › General.
  2. Under Playback, turn on Use MacBook speakers.

It’s off by default. The switch only changes where TapNoise plays its own sounds, so your other audio isn’t affected.
